Job Description & Skills Required

At Boru Stoves Limited, we’re seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle essential plumbing installations, conduct repairs, and ensure all plumbing & heating systems operate smoothly. We’re looking for someone with exceptional plumbing skills, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to helping our customers. Job Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain biomass, pellet and solid fuel heating systems.

Interlinking pressurised and open vented heating systems using the latest techniques with safety as the primary concern. Connection between solid fuel to oil, gas biomass and heat pump.

Perform routine inspections of heating systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.

Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring and ceiling as required.

Installation of marble fireplaces.

Prepare client bids, budgets, and cost estimates.

Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.

Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.

Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.

• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
• Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose heating challenges accordingly.
• Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, steel and copper.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion.
