WARRANTY POLICY & PROCEDURES

Boru Stoves offer a limited extended warranty cover of 6 years on your boiler stove and 5 years on your dry stove, from date of purchase, this does not affect your statutory rights.  

Please be advised your extended warranty must be activated within three months of purchase. 

After this Boru Stoves Limited, will cancel their offer of extended warranty. 
This offer can be availed of by registering on the form opposite or with the warranty sheet supplied with the stove. 
The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the stove ONLY and must be fitted in accordance with Building Regulations by a registered Oftec/Hetas Installer.

THE WARRANTY IS NON TRANSFERABLE

Terms & Conditions

This extended warranty is only valid if:

· The stove has been installed in accordance with the latest building regulations. 
 · The chimney that the stove is connected to is suitable.
 · Only genuine Boru replacement parts are used. 
 · All installation and maintenance instructions are adhered to, a maintenance log must be kept. Annual service is required.
 · The stove is operated correctly as described in the manual.
 · The stove is only used to burn fuel as described in the manual.
 · The flue draught reading must be between 12-14 paschals.
The extended warranty does NOT cover:
 · Any damage resulting from the use of fuel not recommended in the manual.
 · Please note that Boru Stoves cannot cover installation of replacement parts or stoves. This must be done at the customers own expense.
 · A perceived fault in the stove may be a fault of the plumbing or failure of some other part of the heating system outside of Boru Stoves control. Before making a claim under warranty, please ensure that the rest of your heating system is working correctly, as any expense incurred by Boru Stoves or its agents or dealers in recovering or inspecting a perfectly functioning stove will be at the expense of the stove owner.
· Glass is not covered under warranty – Heat will not break the glass.
 · Your Boru Stoves extended warranty does not cover wearable parts, wearable parts include grate, riddler, door rope, glass rope, thermostat,log retainer, ash pan, glass clips,door handle & mechanism, Co pipe inlet etc. A call out charge will apply if our engineer attends any stove problem which is not related to product failure and/or which is not covered under our terms of extended warranty cover.
All warranty claims must be submitted through the authorised Boru Dealer from whom the product was originally purchased.
All Boru Stoves are certified with a chimney draught reading of 12-14 pascals – where the chimney draught exceeds this reading it is required that a draught stabiliser is installed – please contact an accredited chimney specialist for further details – failure to adhere to this will void your warranty.
