The Boru 400E on Pedestal

Eco Design Stove

If you want to future proof your house, then this is the stove for you. The 400E is independently certified to the new Eco Design standards. Emissions and particles have been cut to a fraction of what older stoves emit. Man has burned wood for millennia, now Boru have refined it and brought wood burning out of the stone age and into the technology age. It has all the usual Boru refinements as well as CAI (outside air supply). Heating is via natural convection. Elegance and class is what defines this stove.

100% Made in Tipperary, Ireland

Airwash System

For an unobstructed view of the fire.
Airwash is the preheating of air and the funnelling of that air down the front of the glass. This ensures a clear view of the fire.

Clean Burn

Co2 Burn technology for a cleaner burn. C02 Burn Technology is the secondary burn of gas which would normally be emitted into the atmosphere. It means that you are doing your bit for the environment while saving hard earned cash. Who would have thought that helping to save the planet could also help save money.

Central Air Intake (Standard)

Central Air Intake as standard (outside air feed). Central Air Intake is using air from outside the dwelling to draught the stove. It means that when you are using your stove there is no energy taken from the room the stove is in so therefore the stove is even more efficient.

Output

5kW output insert stove with natural convection to insure efficient delivery of heat where it's needed.  Physics has never been so interesting or hot. Combustion is achieved using a vermiculite lined firebox, easy to use controls all terminating in a 5" opening.

Trim (Frame) Explanations

  • Standard trim 3 sided 50mm, suitable for use at ground level. A good example would be installation in a fireplace. The 50mm is the width of the trim (frame)
  • Standard trim 4 sided 50mm. A good example would be installation in a plain wall where the trim (frame) will act like a picture frame
  • Other sizes available are: 75/100mm

Simplicity

  • Large glass viewing area
  • Large ash tray for easy removal and minimum mess
  • Cool touch handle
  • Natural convection
  • Optional trims available
  • Glass door and trims available
  • Woodburning and multi-fuel options available
